From a Wix site with no shop to €150K in online sales

A Bodrum theme park with a Wix site that couldn't sell a ticket. We moved it to Odoo in May 2025 with online ticketing and an agency portal: €150K in online sales in its first season. In season two, non-brand search clicks grew 2.4×.

The challenge

A major attraction that couldn't sell online

Candyland opened inside Vogue Hotel Supreme as one of the region's largest family attractions. Its Wix site couldn't sell a ticket, and agencies had no way to book.

What we had to deliver
  • Sell tickets online, with instant e-tickets€150K, first season
  • Give travel agencies their own booking channelB2B portal live
  • Grow search demand beyond the brand name2.4× non-brand clicks
  • A dormant Wix site

The old site was out of date, slow on mobile and barely visible in search.

  • No online sales

There was no shop and no payment flow, so every ticket was sold at the gate or by phone.

  • No channel for agencies

Local and foreign agencies could not check availability, see their own prices or track commission.

  • No pages for what people search

Rides, events and the water park had no pages of their own, so generic searches went to competitors.

What we did

One platform for site, tickets and agencies

We replaced Wix with Odoo Enterprise so the website, tickets and agency bookings run on one system, then rebuilt the site around what visitors search for.

From Wix to Odoo 16 Enterprise

    • The Wix site was replaced with Odoo 16 Enterprise on Odoo.sh: one scalable system for content, sales and bookings.

OutcomeWebsite, shop and back office on one platform.

  2. B2C ticketing

Online tickets with instant PDF e-tickets

    • Online payment (POS) integrated into checkout.
    • Each purchase creates a PDF e-ticket at once, and every booking carries a status the team can manage.

OutcomeVisitors buy before they arrive, at any hour.

  3. B2B agency portal

A sales channel for travel agencies

    • A portal where Turkish and foreign agencies sign up, are approved, and then sell tickets directly.
    • Agency-specific price lists and commission rules, set by the park.

OutcomeAgencies book the park themselves, at their own prices.

  4. Architecture & SEO

Pages for the searches families make

    • The site structure rebuilt for search in Turkish, English and Russian.
    • Pages for the headline rides (Bumper Cars, Family Coaster, Ferris Wheel, King Cobra, Looping Rocket) and the daily events.
    • Content built around the park's mascots, Candy & Andy.

OutcomeRankings for generic searches like 'bodrum aquapark', not only the brand.

Organic growth

Organic clicks per month, Jul 2025 – Sep 2026

A seasonal business: search rises in May and peaks in July. Each summer month of 2026 beat the same month of 2025, and the off-season kept a steady base.

Rankings

Found by families who don't know the name yet

Most clicks still come from people searching the name. The growth is in generic searches: water park, funfair and tickets, in several languages.

What we learned

  1. A ticket platform is also a search platform

Moving sales onto the website meant every ride, event and price page could rank and convert. The shop and the SEO were one project, not two.

  2. Agencies are a channel worth building for

A park in a resort town sells through agencies as much as at the gate. Approval, own prices and commission in a self-service portal let them book without calling.

  3. In a seasonal business, compare season to season

Winter traffic says little about summer. We measure each summer against the last, over the same dates, so the growth is real and not the calendar.
